zazengo wrap-up

1. I have contributed a lot to Zazengo web site. I worked in a group called Water Contribution and our project on Zazengo was called Turn Off The Taps. I was mostly working with Jenny as partners and we did a lot of designs for both the main project and for staging Zazengo. For Turn Off The Taps, jenny and I design posters with messages and important information about why we have to save the water, for example: leaving your tap on for one day (24 hours) equals the same amount of water that one person could spent in a year. Our challenges were not only to send the messages but also to create a verity of interesting designs that will get the interest of the people. Other members of my group were Nicole, Melissa and Aron. Nicole was the leader of our group and was leading us into our next projects and putting everything on the web site itself. Aron did the skin template and more posters as well as Melissa who worked on the posters and general information about saving the water.
For staging zazengo Jenny and I were colouring the buttons. The challenge of this project was to colour 40 buttons into 48 colours each. This was done so that a person who is logd in in to the Zazengo site can change the colour of the buttons and menu into the colour that he wishes.
2. If I had the chance of designing zazengo web site I would include in it more elements of nature so that people would actually remember the purpose of the web site. For example pictures of the projects that were designed by groups in zazengo and actually were done (people whose project was to plant trees and a photo of these people actually doing it). I would probably use the same colour of the buttons because i think that this is a very clean colour and very appropriate for a web site about nature. over all i would maybe make an more interesting design again more nature like so that the site will look less like Face book and more like a site which purpose is to make a difference in today's world.
